A história do postal como arte gráfica está marcada por uma grande versatilidade dos formatos convencionais a diversas texturas. Já aqui anotámos o toque de cortiça (aqui e aqui), de tecidos (aqui)e de materiais esponjosos (aqui) que pontual e originalmente serviram este suporte de comunicação. No avesso desta plasticidade, descobrimos também a prestabilidade do postal para a composição de trabalhos criativos. Trabalhado manualmente, este cesto resulta do recorte, montagem e costura de postais que, tendo eventualmente ilustrado palavras, aqui ilustram sobretudo a habilidade das mãos e dão textura aos objectos do quotidiano.

The picture postcard history as graphic art is marked by a great versatility of conventional formats to diverse textures. We have already noted the touch of cork (here and here), of cloth (here) and of spongy materials (here) that occasionally and originally served this mean of communication. In the reverse of such plasticity, we found out the postcard usefulness for the composition of creative works. Worked manually, this basket is a result of the snippet, montage and seam of postcards that, having eventually illustrated words, here illustrate mainly the ability of hands and give texture to objects of daily life.
