Estará em exibição a partir de hoje e até ao dia 19 de Fevereiro, na White Cube Mason's Yard, em Londres, a exposição «The urethra postcard art of Gilbert & George». Nesta exposição, estão expostos 155 dos 564 trabalhos preparados pelos artistas. De acordo com o site da galeria, nesta exposição, Gilbert & George, que fizeram a primeira exposição sobre postais em 1972, «descrevem o mundo moderno e a sociedade sexual que está encoberta ou marginalizada.» Os temas destes trabalhos passam pela prostituição e pelas doenças sexualmente transmissíveis.
It will be on show from today and till February 19, at the White Cube Mason's Yard, in London, the exhibition «The urethra postcard art of Gilbert & George». In this exhibition, there will be 155 of the 564 works prepared by the artists. According to the gallery website, in this exhibition, Gilbert & George, who made their first exhibition on postcards in 1972, «describe both a modern urban world and a sexual society that is covert or marginalised.» Prostitution and sexually transmitted diseases are the themes of these works.
